July 17, 2003: Pulitzer-Prize Winning Author Carol Shields Dies at 68. Todd gets 20 for the solo score.

July 10, 2003: I've added a list of all combined entries to the Players page. It's not exactly formatted perfectly, and I will not swear the information is 100% correct (use the individual player pages for higher reliability, but it is there if you want it.

July 7, 2003: Beverly Hillbillys star Buddy Ebsen dead at 95. Carol, Darin, Jenny & Mathias and Todd score 14. Craig scores 3.

June 29, 2003: Legendary actress Katharine Hepburn dies. Brian M., Carol, Daniel, Jen, Jenny & Mathias, John, Kevin and Todd score 8 points.

June 26, 2003: Ex-S.C. Sen. Strom Thurmond Dies at 100. Adam, Brian Malone, Carol, Craig, Daniel, Darin, Jenny, Jenny & Mathias, Kevin and Todd score 8 points.

June 16, 2003: Hume Cronyn, Acclaimed on Stage and Screen, Dies at 91. Astrida, Brian Malone, Daniel, Darin and Jen receive 12 points.

June 11, 2003: Actor Gregory Peck dies at 87. Jennifer Malone and Jenny & Mathias Törnqvist receive 18 points (active), Carol gets 3 (reserve).

June 11, 2003: Broadcaster David Brinkley dies at 82. Jennifer Malone gets 5 points for having Mr. Brinkley on her reserve roster.

Apr 17, 2003: Dr. Robert Atkins dies at 72. Craig, Jenny & Mathias, John, Patty and Todd all score 16 points (12, plus the 4 point bonus for the first death of the year).

Apr 15, 2003: The game is live. I'm working on getting the last few entries ready and then the site will be up.

Apr 13, 2003: Now 13 players... I'm hoping we can get to 15.

Apr 12, 2003: Several items... I've added short biographical notes and pictures of each listed celebrity. If you click on the names in the entries the bio will display (caveat: you must be using at least a semi-modern web browser - IE 5.5+, Mozilla, Netscape 6+, Safari, etc).

When an entry is moved up from the reserve roster to the active roster I will place a small up arrow icon next to it, noting that it is a call-up. When an entry dies it will be listed like this:

1. Saddam Hussein (65) 8 pts
2. George W. Bush

The first entry shows: the entry has died (strikethrough of name), he was originally on a reserve roster and was called up to the active roster (icon), he was 65 years old and his death was worth 8 points to the player.

The second entry shows that the celebrity is still alive and that the entry was an original active roster entry (no arrow icon).

Apr 11, 2003: 12 Players in game. Redesinged player pages, though much of that will not be apparent until entries are in.

Apr 6, 3003: Now ten players listed.

Mar 29, 2003: Six interested parties added to players list.

Mar 28, 2003: Site up and running. Entries due by Apr 15.
